Dottore e la prima apparizione dei Time Lord al di là di qualche
personaggio isolato. Originariamente erano previste due diverse avventure successivamente abbandonate per lasciare spazio ad una delle avventure più lunghe della saga. Ultima apparizione di Jamie e Zoe, i quali vengono riportati ai loro luoghi e tempi d'origine dai Time Lord alla fine di quest'avventura. Ultima avventura girata in bianco e nero.
